In triple room, can we (females) put 4 people there?? Because One of us is a 13 years old little boy so it is uncomfortable if we let him alone in another room. Or is there extra bed to put in this room? Thanks

What was the highlight of 그린딜리 백패커스 호스텔
It was an experience.
The rooms were nicely cooled and every bed had a curtain for privacy.
Hygiëne was bad. The toilets were disgusting, bathroom doors were moldy and the bathrooms weten dirty all around. The carpet was raffled and worn down and stray objects (f.e. mattresses) were littered in and around the building. The manager was never at the location, you had to phone him for him to come down. His houserules inclusief: "Don't leave your shoes/belongings outside the rooms or in the hallway, they will be thrown out and we're not responsible". Also the outside doors ánd the room doors weren't locked and couldn't be either. There were no backpackers, despite it being in the name of the hostel. It was basically a place for Bangladeshi workers (who were very nice) to reside while they worked in Singapore. Their company picked the "hotel" and apparently couldn't care less for the living environment of its employees. Just like the hotel owner couldnt care less for the living environment of his guests, as long as they paid.

Poor
Initially booked the hostel under booking.com however we were told that the hostel was under renovation and no room available for us when we checked in at the hostel, the staff introduced us to another hotel instead with the same price however can either choose 2 single bedrooms or queen size bedrooms for 3 adults. As it was a last minutes thing, thus decided to accept the offer and paid for 3 days 2 nights + deposit at Greendili Hostel before we departed to Hotel Duke at Geylang. The staff at Greendili Hostel was friendly and patient in explaining the situation to us, however it was really a jaw drop when we arrived at Hotel Duke. The room was small, door knob was loose, the wooden cupboard and the drawer were not clean, the toilet bowl covered was dirty, the air condition cannot be adjusted by the controller, and needed to hold onto the kettle controller when boiling the water to prevent the controller from repelling before the water boiled. Even though the price was economic, but I would say that other backpackers' hostels were definitely better than this regarding the cleanliness, location and maintenance of the room condition. Would also suggest Greendili Hostel management to inform the clients earlier regarding the changes instead of informing us on the spot as the booking was done few weeks ago.

Check-in is extremely difficult
The location (Kampong Glam) and the roof terrace is nice.
They told me another address than on booking.com, so I haven't been at greendili hostel, where I booked, but at Arab Inn. When I reached there at the appointed time, I couldn't find staff at the reception. Other guests let me in and I had to search the staff in the hostel. The wi-fi wasn't working. Not everyone of the staff speaks English. Firstly, they told me higher price than stated on booking.com
